Sound and video quickly become out of sync

I had high hopes for this video capture device which is marketed as easy to connect and easy to use and the features that actually work are pretty good indeed intuitively, after many repeated attempts of this device, it seems impossible to synchronize audio with video. Image capture is bright and vibrant, as strong as source material captured via an HDMI cable, compact and works with downloaded software from the manufacturer integrated into the device via a USB-C cable. The controls are fairly basic, although no instructions are offered and it takes some time to figure out how files are stored on the device. Synchronization. Basically, it's only suitable for silent movies or storytelling where dubbing isn't required. I'm trying to stream sites from multiple sources using Vimeo and YouTube to direct clicks from DVD players and satellite boxes and the problem persisted throughout testing. The audio will lag behind the video very quickly, and the longer the video, the worse the sync problem gets. . What's really weird is that both the graphics and the audio seem nice on their own. The video quality is good, the frame rate seems stable while the audio file appears sharp and not sped up, but the delay between the video and the audio is increasing by the minute, making this device virtually unusable. One can hope that this is a software error. There may be a fix in the form of a patch in a future update, but it cannot be ruled out that the fault lies in the hardware. Therefore, I would not recommend this product until there is confidence in its reliability. Extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
