According to the manual, the accuracy is within 0.2mm. That's accurate enough. Most application measurements, at least for me, are within 1/5 of 1 millimeter. so this scale does just that. as . 3.5mm or 3.7mm. it's close enough close enough for me. If you look at a ruler, 1/5 millimeter is very small. In my case I don't think I need higher precision than this. So that's enough, it's also good with its plastic, less risk of it damaging what I measure. an additional battery is sufficient. They say batteries are like eggs, the longer they're left unused, the less useful they bring. So an extra battery is more than enough. :) I've only been using it for a few days and I'm happy with it. :)
