Maybe the low profile prevents the sidewall from biting. The erased one was pierced multiple times in season two. Like on RunFlat, I drove on a steadily deflating tire. And she was still alive after all that had happened. The thing is, I won't be making any more purchases. I'm not prepared to shell out for a new set every few months. Besides, you know wide, low-profile, soft rubber isn't designed "for sports" if it offers silence and comfort. She's loud because she sticks to the road surface and gets caught in ruts. However, it can turn on a dime and respond quickly to your steering inputs. Choose a more "quiet" rubber if comfort is your priority at the expense of performance.
