Review on ๐Ÿšด Smooth and Space-Saving: Tacx Antares Indoor Retractable Bicycle Rollers by Michael Hellewell

Great trainer, best in the sport

I bought this as an alternative to my Kinetic Rock n' Roll on wheels (which I also bought from Revain). I bought a return item and saved over $50. It was packed in the original box with all the necessary parts. The manual doesn't say that, but you should adjust the length of the frame so that the front roller axis is about 2 cm in front of the axis of your front wheel; This is to prevent the bike from rolling forward off the front roller. This is my first trainer and definitely a new learning experience. I used the outside wall of my house to get used to it and it took me a good 30 minutes to get comfortable. If you've never used roller skates before, get used to the constant feeling of a fishtail, because that's what it does. My advice is that the faster you go, the easier it is to stabilize. Once I got the hang of it, I placed two large concrete blocks (instead of a wall) on either side to step on and catch myself. If you ask me what is more difficult than normal driving because balancing is more difficult and requires constant attention. If you are looking for a new challenge, check out these videos!
