Be careful with sizing - will not fit my water softener
Although the inlet and outlet are 1 inch, that doesn't mean they will fit the threads in your particular case. I bought this to replace a bad valve assembly on my water softener and my existing 1" female fittings were only slightly larger than the 1" male fittings on this item. The equipment was correct. I had to return the product. The problem is that there isn't enough information in the listing to know if it's suitable for your application.
