Haven't started yet but have looked at the manual and all the items included. unmarked, any fool will figure out how to match the symbol to the color of the thread.I plan to embroider this on a piece of linen fabric (as I did before with another pattern of the same brand) and sew as a velvet left However, if you plan to use the fabric provided, you can do so as cross stitch fabric is a standard fabric that you can find at any craft store. The extra fabric for the back can be improved, especially after all the work that goes into this Sew the front is tucked in, I'm really glad it worked out! Well packaged and shipped quickly.
