We have five of these headphones so we have to tell you a little bit about what we think of this headset. Do you get studio quality sound from them? Of course not - they're intended as a simple headset/mic for use with a computer with an emphasis on voice quality, as the mic advantage means they're used with products like Skype, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, etc. I think they offer great sound for the price, both through the headphones and the mic. Those I speak to say my speech is clear, undistorted and easy to hear without constant volume changes. I can hear voices or music through them quite well. I will also note that I have very small ears and finding earbuds or headphones that I can wear comfortably is a HUGE issue for me. These are the only headphones that I can easily wear for several hours. My husband, who has fairly normal sized ears, says they are very comfortable for him too. I also really like the boom mic on this headset - I like that I can position it however I want and it's easy to get it out of the way. when not needed. I've had a couple of headsets where it felt like the mic boom was somehow "pulling" the headset forward with its weight - I never realized how heavy a mic had to be? You don't feel that way at all. they look very balanced. They're pretty close to the head. It's easy enough to stretch them out a bit by simply laying them on the armrest of a sofa (or similar) overnight. As long as you wear them regularly afterwards, they will keep their stretched size. If you don't use them, they'll go back to almost as tight as when you bought them. This can be a bonus for some buyers. Of course, they can easily be stretched again if necessary. So yeah, we like them so much we have five sets. We use them with all our computers/laptops and they supply us with spares if the set ever breaks down. We think this is a great product for the price. We definitely benefit from this.
