This headset is great for speech dictation and transcription. Many of them only have a USB connector on the end, but my setup requires small connectors. I'm so glad Plantronics still makes them. The room or office must be very quiet to ensure good speech recognition.

These headphones are good as long as they work but I have two others of the same model for my other offices and all three failed after six months to a year. The incoming audio is fine, but the microphone cuts out or there is a short in the line and the other party cannot hear you or only hears part of the conversation. I would say these are normal headphones. Anything lower or cheaper than this set will be worse. They work well, the mic works great too. I felt the headphones were on the small side. However, it may be useful for you if you have small ears. The set is light. I would say the nicest thing is the long cord. Sorry, it doesn't have USB capabilities.
