In the future I would buy "bigger" or stronger braces. They are very light and thin but PERFECT FOR MY SITUATION with very minimal tilt. (hence the 4 stars) Used when the slider is fully installed but a light curtain/bar is present. My window is a sliding door and we rent so the landlord has vertical shutters (I hate them and they break) but can't clean. So I bought a very thin curtain for privacy and sunlight. I wanted light, yes, not glaring and not dazzling. The curtain had to come out OVER the existing installation and extending it over what was there worked great. Now if I had a regular weight or weighted curtain of that length - or a blackout - no way. You need min 4 or better. view photo
