I was looking at a rubber mallet and a ball hammer. I came across this set which costs less than buying a rubber mallet and hammer separately. The handles are fiberglass with some kind of rubbery material in the grip area. All hammers are comfortable to hold and swing, although none can compete with the professional hammers. For example, a clawed hammer is not as good as my professional hammer. That being said, these hammers will still get the job done so represent great value for money. These hammers are best for casual use or small projects in my opinion. If you're a professional carpenter, mechanic, etc., unless you're on a budget, you'll probably want to look for higher quality.
