Purchased this to replace the cheap foam protector that is typical for most riding jackets. It was going in a ventilated summer jacket so the holes in this were a bonus feature.It was designed to fit in a Tourmaster jacket but I removed the original piece, traced around it and then cut this one to match in a minute. The material this is made from is heavier than the cheap protectors and you may feel the extra weight.So far, untested. Worn, and it is comfortable but I hope to never need this or test it. But it will be there every ride.
