Comfortable and unobtrusive.

I bought some great riding pants, Ironworks, but the knee armor was very hard on my bony knees and made the pants look ugly. I bought this Surlim armor, it is very soft and flexible, slipped right into the pockets without any need for any thing else to keep it located and now they are very comfortable to wear. Great product.

  • Very good quality. Thick and squishy foamy spungy, well ventilated. A little heavier than expected.

  • The pads might leave marks or scratches on the motorcycle

Untested but a nice upgrade to my jacket

Purchased this to replace the cheap foam protector that is typical for most riding jackets. It was going in a ventilated summer jacket so the holes in this were a bonus feature.It was designed to fit in a Tourmaster jacket but I removed the original piece, traced around it and then cut this one to match in a minute. The material this is made from is heavier than the cheap protectors and you may feel the extra weight.So far, untested. Worn, and it is comfortable but I hope to never need this or…

Good replacement kneepads for street riding pants

I got these to replace some disintegrated pads in my Kevlar and Denim street riding pants. They fit into the kneepockets well, are fairly flexible and provide decent coverage. They are a good replacement.

Don’t want to know if they work

The material appears to be top notch, though the fit is it ideal for my riding gear and some customization of the pockets was required. Haven’t rode with them yet, will update when I do!

I used the knee pad for my elbows

Originally ordered the Surlim elbow pads for my Rocket large jacket but they left my elbow totally exposed - too short.I put these knee pads into my jacket elbows and they worked beautifully. Being both longer and wider than Surlim elbow pads they covered my elbow perfectly and gave extra wrap around elbow protection.

Good quality knee pads

These are nice and thick; look like they would provide very good protection in a crash. While they are thick, they are also very flexible and easy to install in my XL sized riding pants.

Good pad that is adjustable with scissors

I was able to tweak this pad with a pair of scissors in order to install it in my Tourmaster Transition 4 jacket. It fits well, it's flexible, comfortable, and WAY better that the pad that came with my jacket.

Not for me - sorry - my new review

Returned - too thick & ridged. Would not fit into the sleeve in my jacket. Had to order a different back pad. They might not be able to withstand extreme weather conditions!
