Review on Quick and Easy Installation: AMP Research 74602-01A No Drill Bracket Mounting Kit for Ford F-150 & F-250/350 (2004-2020 & 2008-2021) - Black by Brian Cheney

I highly recommend using this bracket when attaching an AMP Research X-Tender bed. I hated the thought of drilling holes in the back of my truck, especially when the extra holes were already pre-drilled. This bracket allowed me to attach the X-Tender bed without drilling through the truck's metal box. I had to drill through my plastic back panel to cover the extra holes, but it was easy and there was no other option (you would also need to drill through the back panel with the brackets that come with the X-Tender). The only thing that I think could be improved is the printed instructions. The diagrams are not very clear. The brackets are offset on one side and it wasn't clear from the drawings where the tabs should point (front or back). However, a bit of common sense dictated that the flat parts of the mounts should face backwards. In general, I am very happy that I bought these braces. They are a must have if you hate drilling holes in your truck.
