A simple and perfect way to fit a body extension to a large Ford. Installation takes only about ten minutes with hand tools, no cutting or drilling required. I have more faith in this fastening solution than using self tapping screws in truck sheet metal.

Important update, it also works on the 2020 F-350. I had to go to AMP to confirm but they responded very quickly and after a couple of PCB rejects I was with a tech who was quick to confirm that this would indeed work for the new model year. AMP products tend to be expensive, but based on their customer support I can understand why and have no worries about buying from them again.

My husband and I bought this and a quick release bracket for our bed extension and it was VERY worth the money. It was wonderful. Installation was very easy using a cordless screwdriver. The instructions are a bit vague, but after carefully studying the diagram and some photos here on Revain from other reviewers, it became clear how to install. I am very happy with my decision to purchase the AMP Research No Drill Kit. I recently purchased (from a Craigslist post) a bed extension model from AMP Research for my 2009 Ford F150. After assembling the bed extension, it became obvious that I needed to drill mounting holes in the sides of my pickup bed. Very satisfied with this product. I was missing a screw as there were no screws or washers in the sealed bag but I was able to use the screw I already had. The instructions are not very clear but easy enough to understand. I love that I didn't have to drill and that was the only reason I paid so much for this item. I highly recommend using this bracket when attaching an AMP Research X-Tender bed. I hated the thought of drilling holes in the back of my truck, especially when the extra holes were already pre-drilled. This bracket allowed me to attach the X-Tender bed without drilling through the truck's metal box.
