This tool is perfect for the job! I had no problems with it at all. I've read a few reviews of people tearing o-rings, it must be due to abuse as as long as the axle shaft doesn't put a lot of force on the tool when installing or removing there isn't a problem. It's the same with the gripping area, to remove a "too short" tool, simply lift the tip of the shank slightly when removing the tool and it will come out easily, even with greasy fingers. Thanks to this purchase I now have a lot of wheel bearing grease in my bearings.
