Big shocks! fits shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Replaced 2006 Mazda3 2.0L with these. Great damper set. Very easy to install and no problems at all with the bottom bracket. Just remember to support the axle with a jack and jack it up so the holes match. You probably already raised it when you removed the old damper, so leave it there. You will know when they are aligned because the screw is easier to remove and reinstall. I had no problems installing this shock absorber. A few tips before you go ahead and remove that old shock absorber. Spray the top two mounting screws with PB Blaster or another liquid wrench. You will help unravel it. You will also need deep sockets and an extension cord. They're not very tight there. Approximately 21 foot pounds. I also bought a bracket to replace the old one. Factory 12 years old. After I removed and inspected it showed signs of wear so they were replaced. Took it for a test ride and it tracked well. The loud rattling in the rear is gone because the standard shock absorbers are long past the wear and tear stage.

Pros
  • Chrome triple rod and multi-lip anti-wear oil seals
Cons
  • Some nuances
