Review on Cuisinart CGS 5014 Deluxe Stainless Steel 14 Piece by Jean Wynen

Maybe my claims are too high. I wanted a grill set in a case to keep it tidy in the storage compartment in our RV. Well, it's straight to the point. It looks good and most of it is functional. However, pliers are useless. The metal is very thin. When gripping a steak, the part being held hits the center without applying a gripping force to the meat. I bent them to compensate but they are too weak. It's hard to hold a hot dog! Nothing gets harder. Since tongs are the main item I would use in a set, this is a complete fail. Since all this is a bit tight, my old grill tongs don't fit in the case either. By the way, it looks like there is more than one product in a shopping cart. I have a set of 14. The pliers look the same as a 20 piece set. The ones shown in the 10 piece set with stand are different. This could explain the wide range of reviews. The 14 piece set is junk.
