Media could not be loaded. This is my first hardtail mountain bike that I bought brand new. I love my bike, but it only had one downside: it doesn't allow for an internal dropper post. I took a chance and bought this Trans X external dropper seatpost. I also bought a Trans X lever (which includes the cable and cable housing). When the parts arrived I packed up my bike and rode to the local REI, paying a very small fee to have the experts properly install this dropper post. Let me tell you they have done a fantastic job and this drip stand is just amazing! I can tell that the materials are of high quality and the saddle hardly wobbles. Lever actuation feels strong and responsive, and the 170mm of travel is great. I recommend anyone considering releasing an external dropper to get this! (Don't forget to get the Trans X lever) Great product!
