Review on Dorman 83472 Interior Door Handle - Front Driver Side for Hyundai Models by Robert Johnson

Dorman is not very happy with the product but there were no other options. The lock indicator was so hard that the cable could not operate the lock. I had to take it apart and drill a 0.4mm (1/64 inch) larger hole for the hinge. Then I had to add dry Teflon grease. After that the lock worked fine. Second, once the handle was in place, the hinge side of the door latch handle rubbed against the door panel so I had to disassemble everything a second time to move the screw holes a bit. finished, worked but not unaltered, looks like the original and hasn't broken yet, although I don't think it's like the original made of HDPE (no wonder HDPE is expensive to squeeze out). I would pay more for a better product if it was available I found an OEM replacement at a good price but I don't like working with RockAuto.
