I wasn't an Apple fan but I decided to try the iPhone 7 instead of Samsung like my wife did. When I first received it, I was really impressed with the lightning connector. You don't have to figure out which side was up! It seemed like a great thing. Before. The fork didn't stay in. I had to prop it up somehow and make sure it wasn't moving at all to get a full charge. I've searched online for fixes. Change jack yourself? maybe possible, but difficult at best. Pay someone to replace the jack? Annoying and probably expensive. I found that people would use a flat toothpick and pick all the dirt from there. I've tried and had some success, but not for very long. I remember about 2 phones, one of the things I really wanted in a phone was a charging port cover. But I should have kept that in mind and not bought the iPhone. However. I think this product is the answer. If I had used that from the start I think it would have prevented all the problems. Anyway, I cleaned the outlet area and put in a small adapter, and. WOW, the magnet really clicked and I got charged! No problem. Will it continue? Not sure, but at least I now have a dust cover and a good chance to keep charging. If you have an iPhone. Buy this item. It works. Looks like high quality materials etc etc. Even if you haven't had any charging issues yet. BUY THIS PRODUCT. This saves you a lot of hassle and possibly money.
