I wore them with leather shoes today and they were very comfortable, with a certain synthetic suppleness and didn't feel too hot or wet. Everything seems to be fine with brewing. They were good at washing. My only issue is that they are slightly shorter on the shank and collar than I would like to cover the men's 11-12 size range. This is not a problem with long trousers, as they close well, but do not go up as high on the leg as similar socks in the same price range. I don't think there is any marking on the packaging indicating the country of origin, which is a minus because it's always desirable to know and there's no point in hiding it.
