Revainrating 5 out of 5

Power enters one point and exits ten others

As with many simple mechanical products, I don't have much to say here. Like my stupid title: power goes in one spot and out of a bunch of others (if you plug something in there; no lightning). I don't have an opinion or tools to measure the resulting electricity, so I can't rate it for noise or anything like that. Heck, I didn't even use a socket tester to verify that each socket was properly plugged in. I am ashamed. If I do I will try to remember to update the review. I'm sure the connector on the protective cover over the power button will wear out with frequent use, but I hope I don't have to use it that often. The switch works. It is used to prevent vampires from wasting electricity. The construction seems to be good. Right now I would buy more of these (in fact I might buy another one; my "studio" never seems to have enough outlets). It would be nice to have at least two sockets on the front. Oddly enough, most rack mount power strips are with ALL outlets on the FRONT. That's why I settled on this one: it's the kind of device you get when you want all the chaos on the table. However, having two outlets in the front would have been an added convenience, but the price is right for it, and the "more convenient" racks were also more expensive. shipping carton. Supplied in an unprotected (no packaging material) original manufacturer's packaging (plain, low-profile brown cardboard). Luckily mine wasn't injured. I don't know why Revain ships these things this way. You're probably hurting yourself with returns by sending them without proper packaging. The manufacturer must change the design of its packaging in such a way that it reliably protects the product. Then the fitters at the Revain camps wouldn't have to put it in another box, which they don't do anymore (probably because they don't know they have to).
