Review on Black Alpinestars Men's Open Face Balaclava - Universal Size by Albert Wallin

I love this item. There is constant construction going on around the Houston area, so every time the wind blows you're swept up in sand and dust/debris. This thing is not only great at keeping my neck clean from dirt, but also from sunburn. Driving home yesterday it was 98 degrees with a heat index of around 105 and I can't say it's gotten any worse. One of the main reasons I bought the balaclava was to fill in some of the gaps in my helmet. I have an odd shaped head and Arai no longer sells the only cap that has ever fitted me properly. My new Shoie GT Air is a great helmet, but it doesn't fit very well. This balaclava is thick enough to solve my fit issues and remove some hot spots without adding unnecessary bulk/warmth. It should be noted that this is not wind and water protection, but it still reduces wind noise somewhat compared to not wearing a balaclava. Please and will look for a similar Alpinestars winter balaclava if my current one dies.
