Review on Fluval 11081 Medium Gravel Cleaner by Jessica Sommers

I can't put water through these. I use another one at work that doesn't use a pump. To do this, I simply suck on it and the water flows perfectly through the hoses. I was expecting this one to work the same, it's just that I don't have to start the flow with my mouth, I can start it with a pump. But even with the pump I can hardly get the water to move, let alone flow. I've tried adjusting the grip to flow fast or slow and no big change in the problem. Also checked if the pump was in the right path and it was. Extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.
