Functional but not optimal

Functional but not very good. Such as: hose length; vacuum tube length; adjustable flow rate Dislikes, vacuum hose not tight on body causing it to slip and/or air entering the siphon hose and breaking the vacuum; The siphon pump does not always work, the valves easily get stuck in the open position.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Doesn't work as well as expected

I can't put water through these. I use another one at work that doesn't use a pump. To do this, I simply suck on it and the water flows perfectly through the hoses. I was expecting this one to work the same, it's just that I don't have to start the flow with my mouth, I can start it with a pump. But even with the pump I can hardly get the water to move, let alone flow. I've tried adjusting the grip to flow fast or slow and no big change in the problem. Also checked if the pump was in the right…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

This gravel vacuum is the best I have ever found! Love it!

This gravel vacuum is the best I have ever seen. I have a 50 liter tank. I used a 10 gallon gravel vacuum for a while because I had trouble finding a decent vacuum with a hand pump. I refuse to fill the vacuum by sucking it up. Uk, I don't have aquarium water in my mouth, thanks. I'm so glad it has a hand pump and valve to slow or stop the water flow because this vacuum works fast. This is a useful feature when changing the bucket or removing enough water from the aquarium. I am very happy with

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • Slightly torn

Excellent vacuum cleaner, almost perfect! Costs money.

This is the first and only gravel vacuum I own, but if he dies tomorrow I'll probably buy another one. I've had this for about 4 months and have used it probably 5 times. It takes a few blows with the fan to start the flow, but it always starts and the flow is relatively strong. The flow regulator is very handy because when I'm sucking in the sand I don't really want to pull the sand out of the tank, I just want to break it up so some algae get into the sand and down the pipe. When I'm done…

Great, well thought-out gravel vacuum at a reasonable price!

Excellent gravel cleaner. The quality is high, the price moderate, it works well. Best of all, it comes with Quality of Life features that set it apart from other similar products. Whoever designed this vacuum knew what they were doing because the little features (blow start, bucket clamp, flow control, etc.) really set it apart from other vacuums. If you're considering buying this gravel vacuum, I'd say you really should get one. If you're wondering how this works in different sized tanks, it…

Pros
  • Best in its niche

  • Hard to say
