Received it after my 3rd Trimark failure in 6 years and it installed perfectly in literally 90 seconds. My trimarks needed a little or a lot of tweaking, but the pawn closes and opens perfectly the first time and is better than any other trimark. Very smooth, strong and reliable, and everything is aligned. BUT! Handle. The sliding cover of the mesh door gets in the way. While the tee is open in the handle, the pawn is a slimmer design but is not open on the lock side, so it cannot be taken from that side. But the sliding screen door cover makes it absolutely impossible to hold onto it at all. I can only close the door by stretching a finger up or down. Nice but boring design. Don't most RV's have screen doors like mine? I do not know. I could take my dremel and cut a slot for a handle or screw an extra handle onto the handle. And I would love to, BUT: YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE HANDLE OR THE LATCH FROM THE INSIDE. POINT. THEY CAN ONLY DISEASE. I have no idea why that is. There must be a reason for this. But,. What?! So after some thought he should come back. I mean wtf? Look out for Trimark, customer service is excellent. It was easy to find the right man, he advised me how to open it and sent me a new lock. He says they fixed the problem the old ones had - the latch is now milled instead of cast - but I don't think it went wrong this time. An inner lock and handle is incredibly stupid. I'm giving 2 stars because you have to rate engineers with special needs in a turn.
