Keeps the chickens in and Snakes out
I live in the desert and I hate snakes! I was looking at something that would keep my chickens safe and keep the predators including snakes out. This hardware cloth was perfect! It is doing exactly what I wanted. It has small enough holes that it keeps the predators and snakes out and keeps the chickens in. It works great!
- I had a 15x15x7 chicken pens built using this wire. Seems pretty stutdy.
- The 19-gauge wire may be too thin for heavier-duty applications, meaning that it may be more prone to bending or breaking over time
