So far it's exactly what I was hoping for from this lamp. I was under the impression they came with mounting brackets in case you didn't want to flush mount them, but they didn't. They came with mounting hardware for flush mounting. I made some tabs and welded them to the top of my UTV's roll cage so they reflect back. One of the reasons I wanted them was for night driving, but I also wanted something with enough light spread so they would illuminate the area if I wanted to turn them on to play in the yard or listen to music. If they're mounted high and a good headlight puts out a lot of light, that's what I was hoping for. As for the wiring. The wires were shorter than I needed so I had to splice them additionally. And the lighted switch seems fine. The switch glows brightly, but the dust cover around it is basically useless as it doesn't stay on as intended. Overall I'm happy with these lamps and as long as they work I'll probably order more.
