Unfortunately I had to use this battery tester within the same week that I received it. My car died and I had to spend some of my meager unearned earnings on cabs, which I enjoyed as much as an IRS check. After charging the battery, I tested it on this machine. This confirmed that my battery was weak (maybe I needed to charge it a little longer) but was otherwise fine, and also confirmed that my car's charging system was within tolerance, albeit a bit over the top.
