Can't believe the antique silver kief I received , consists of a metal alloy. It might have some sort of alloy in it, but I'd bet it has a lot of plastic in it. When applied and combed, it breaks down into very small sparkles. Most of them are identical stars with a circle cut out of the center or with circles missing. These secrets are the same as the glitter that makes up the Cricut glitter paper. All in all, however, it went on without any problems, except for a lot of work when opening it, since almost all the sheets were torn in several places when they were opened. I like the color but it looks more like metallic glitter paint than sheet metal. I will definitely not be buying again for gilding projects and would not recommend to others. There are better alternatives for the same price.
