I've been screwing on cars and motorcycles more than half my life and it usually takes a pick or a long sacrificial screwdriver to fix it the plain bearing rings to be removed. Removing a very thin lower journal collar can sometimes be a hell of a job, and if you're like me and have slipped or hit your upper arm due to drifting, then you've probably been screaming with expletives. I received my package from Revain and opened it up, put the unit in place, took a 1/2" box end wrench, tightened the clamp bolt and then used a pin punch and small ball-peen hammer to hit the flange body. About 3-4 slaps on the side and the ring flew through my garage. It was too easy. This tool works as described, and if you are working with a bearing ring without it, all you have to do is disassemble and buy a tool. You will consider what to do with the next saved hour.
