7+ month update EDITSSCREEN IS STILL PICKLING I've dropped this 15 times and it's held up better than the original apple. Sometimes there is a delay effect. Tbh I have an 8 year old iPhone 6s with a Chinese screen. So what do you expect, right? It's barely noticeable. It's mostly because of the keyboard that you're typing so fast half the time. The screen is still bright. I don't know what else to say, it still works great! Okay, a few notes * I wasn't expecting much at first. My hope was very low and I didn't really care. Let's start with the delivery. Super fast came 3 days earlier than planned without Prime, only classic free shipping. The box is really well made. Foam inserts and separation. The protective film is already on it, another on the side. Napkins, tools and tweezers were all there. Now the screen. It's a thick dummy screen, clearly not Apple so I'm sure they're doing their best to fit, but super thick. It was a little bumpy putting it back in, being misaligned by a millimeter here and there. Don't worry, it's pretty solid. The screen's smoothness is only legitimate for a split second. I mean, if you're into gaming, go to Apple, but I could do with that extra frame rate. We're talking less than 5+ framerate drops. If you swipe the screen quickly, you can tell it's not catching up like the old one, but it's worth every penny. Keyboard Surprisingly faster and sharper than the original Apple screen. Fair warning: you have to toggle the touch home button and be very careful with the camera port. This is one of the most delicate parts. The front camera will also have to be changed for reasons. The reason is that the new front camera connection on the screen is very weak. Even after taking out the original Apple and trying to put the same one back in, it was also very loose, but not as loose as the new screen. That's why you also need to change the front camera for a better connection. You won't notice it during installation. The other two connections were ok. You will also need some super glue. Goes for a pinch, but if your bastard just skips it, it's not a coloring-out-of-the-lines job. You need glue for 3 things home button. edge of screen. And the front camera. These are small connecting parts that are better glued. we are talking about the smallest of the drops. What I did was stick a toothpick in the bottle and pry the toothpick out with a sewing needle, then use a sewing needle to dab the phone. Overall very satisfied 9/10. The biggest problem is framerate drops. The front camera looked weird, but then I remembered I was using the original camera, so I figured what was going on, and then I read somewhere that there's a little frosty piece of plastic that holds the front camera, which you can change too . I skipped this step because I think the new one looks just as good if not better and it had it's own it just wasn't as frosty so let in a bit more light all I could say was that the Details were different but I like the change. It doesn't look so gloomy anymore when I open the front camera for everyone who likes this kit. Time it took me: 36 minutes. Delivery: ordered on March 4th, expected on the 9th but received on the 6th. Quality: 10/10. In a month to update this see if the rumors are true about those cheap screens where the adhesive is peeling off the screen I don't think so but see you in a couple of weeks.
