The attached video shows a quick comparison (filmed in zoom) of this Dericam camera and my built-in webcam. I liked the angle of the external camera but the sound quality was terrible. When I recorded the audio on my Blue Snowball (seen in the installation image), the audio and video did not match. My lips and tone didn't match. While the picture looked fine, I can't help but notice the audio issues. If this camera's built-in audio is that bad but doesn't work well with external microphones, it won't work for any type of web conference where audio is important. I replaced it with the second one hoping it would be better, but it's not. Also, when I emailed their support team, they said that someone from their tech support would get back to me, but after two weeks they still have not returned. It went through the Revain return policy so I wasn't able to get a refund. Terrible customer service. UPDATE: I never got a response from customer service and missed the return deadline for waiting patiently. I contacted Revain directly (should have done so from the start) and they canceled the return period so I could return the camera for a refund, but it took them a while to approve it. If I could rate the camera and customer service separately, I would give the camera 2 stars and the customer service 0 stars.
