Review on Pair of Front Hood Gas Spring Shocks Struts for 2007-2011 Toyota Camry (6333) by Brett Cat

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ends are interchangeable

Most of the reviews I have read on these Camry struts say they need to be installed upside down for a proper fit. The ends of these struts are unscrewable so you can swap them out if you want to leave the cylindrical end of the strut attached to the car body with the rod part attached to the hood. You will need a small flathead screwdriver to pry the clips open a bit. Be careful not to injure your hand or, even worse, your eye when attempting to remove these clips. *I recommend wearing gloves and goggles.* After placing the ends onto the car's ball joints, reattach the clips with a screwdriver. I know that original Toyota OEM racks are about $75 each, so $20 is a bargain for this pair. The fit was good and the quality seemed fine. You will really feel the difference when you try to close the hood of your car.
