Review on πŸ”₯ Crisbee Puck Cast Iron and Carbon Steel Seasoning - Family-Made in USA - Expert-Preferred Cast Iron Seasoning Oil & Conditioner for a Cleaner Non-Stick Skillet by Matthew Miles

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thinking or just starting to cook with cast iron. Read it!

Over the years we have accumulated an assortment of cast iron skillets, skillets and braziers but we have not used them because we have heard various stories of the work required to properly maintain them . cleaned/seasoned. We recently bought a pizza pan and decided to use it. The two frozen pizzas we made were great, but the pan became sticky from the vegetable oil we rubbed onto the pan and it looked like it would be impossible to remove without a lot of hard work. After researching some cast iron condiments/care products, I ordered a Crisbee Puck and was amazed at how quick/easily it cleans the pan! I happened to have some extra car wax pads and used one to smudge/wipe the Crisbee Puck washer while I applied it. I keep it in a ziplock bag for later use as it wasn't sticky when I finished! ADVICE. I put the pan back in the off oven right after eating and about 15 minutes later. It was hot enough to apply the Crisbee Puck which only took 3-4 minutes. Now that we know we can depend on Crisbee Puck, we're cooking more in our cast iron cookware.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Obsolete model
