Everything worked great. One of my old frying pans (Wagner) was .

I bought this about 4 months or so ago. I read about it and wanted to try it. Unfortunately, around this time our oven became a problem and wasn't heating up enough. I ended up putting a few pieces of cast iron in a grill with a thermometer (350 degrees). Everything worked great. One of my old frying pans (Wagner) was in bad shape. After a good cleaning and a thin coat of crisbee. turned out great. In fact, I just used it today to make an omelet that doesn't stick to the pan at all. I was so…

Your cast iron pot/pan's best friend - AMAZING!

This is amazing! Reminds me of surfboard wax pads. Two hockey puck sized cakes in a metal container, each individually wrapped. If you don't abbreviate the instructions, you'll be happy with the results. This product requires some work and patience on your part, but it's worth it. Instructions: 1. Heat the pot/pan in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes to open the pores.2. Use a lint-free cloth to rub CRISBEE into the surface of the pan (I hold a washer and rub it directly into the…

Thinking or just starting to cook with cast iron. Read it!

Over the years we have accumulated an assortment of cast iron skillets, skillets and braziers but we have not used them because we have heard various stories of the work required to properly maintain them . cleaned/seasoned. We recently bought a pizza pan and decided to use it. The two frozen pizzas we made were great, but the pan became sticky from the vegetable oil we rubbed onto the pan and it looked like it would be impossible to remove without a lot of hard work. After researching some…

Two Good Seasoned Pots

I used this product to repair and spice up two very rusty pots. After soaking these pots in an electrolytic tank and wrapping them in garbage bags with oven cleaner for a few days to remove excess carbon, I wiped them down with Bar Keepers Friend Powdered Cleaner. I washed them with mild dish soap and rinsed in cold water to avoid rust stains. Then I started seasoning. Following the directions on the product and the advice of Bradley Stewart, the manufacturer, I applied additional coats of…

I'm a believer! suitable for kitchen and dining room

I wanted to wait until I use Crisbee before writing my review. Before trying Crisbee, I mostly used Crisco for my cast iron. I have 8 skillets, two skillets and two skillets, so I use at least one of my cast iron skillets most of the time. It doesn't leave the same oily shine as Crisco and leaves a more matte finish. What really drew me in was how firmly it stuck to part of my frying pan with a damaged coating. I was on the verge of thinking I'd have to take the whole pan apart and start over…
