I bought this about 4 months or so ago. I read about it and wanted to try it. Unfortunately, around this time our oven became a problem and wasn't heating up enough. I ended up putting a few pieces of cast iron in a grill with a thermometer (350 degrees). Everything worked great. One of my old frying pans (Wagner) was in bad shape. After a good cleaning and a thin coat of crisbee. turned out great. In fact, I just used it today to make an omelet that doesn't stick to the pan at all. I was so pleased with this product that I ordered more washers and gave them to someone who is just starting to get interested in cast iron. This is a wonderful product!
