Review on πŸ“ž Easy-to-Use Tyler TBBP-3-WH Big Button Corded Phone: Perfect Speakerphone for Seniors by Carmen Thomas

Not recommended for use in a home with multiple phones or a VOIP phone line

The phone itself was what I expected for the price. Not great, but not the worst either. I bought it for the large buttons and speakerphone while my elderly mom was in rehab and needed an easier to use room phone. The problem with answering the calls themselves became apparent after I brought them and that home from rehab and hooked them up at home. I'm not sure if the problem was one of the two phones sharing a phone line (separate jacks) or if it is related to my phone, it's VOIP coming in with my cable and internet service before it disconnects telephone socket. He seemed to have access to the phone line, even though no one was using it. For example, you answer a call on another phone that is plugged into a different jack, and after the call hangs up, the power indicator on that phone lights up, even though no one has touched that phone. I've noticed that the 'in use' indicator has been activated multiple times even when we haven't answered that phone. I would then have to pick up the phone and restart it once or twice to get the dial tone back. I'm not sure why it did this, but I ended up turning it off and throwing it away as I had it for a few months before figuring out what it was doing.
