Love this tool, it makes caliper piston compression much easier in most cases. Just press the switch to compress and you simply snap the piston back. super easy. However, it took a while before you realized that it could break when you first used it. If there is no pressure, the pads will not move in or out. If you want to fold or spread the pads, you need to gently squeeze the pads together during the ratchet for the snap to work. But once you know, it moves great! I used it for brake work on a 2013 Kia Sorento and it worked great on the front brakes, but when folded it was still at least a half inch too big to fit. The caliper is on the rear brakes so I still had to get my old press tool to do the job. So it's not the only tool you need for brake work, but it can make a lot of jobs a lot easier! (Hence the 4 stars) For reference, the folded width of the tool is 1 9/16 inches.
