Yes they are made in China as the description does NOT state where they are made. The cuts are very tight. Almost too tight. I had to stretch the slotted hole with a screw to fit the strap onto the door pin. Looks solid at first but also had loose threads. cost more than the best I could get at Quadratec but I had to pay more than the dollar amount to get free shipping so I put up with it.
