This saved me a lot of time when I had to make some cables myself. I usually buy ready made patch cords (because I'm lazy and they work) but I had to run some long outdoor cables through conduit where the connectors didn't fit. This little gem will save you time and doubts. No back and forth, no tedious testing of the data traffic, whether the cable connector is ok or not. Place a terminal block on one end, do your business 100 feet away, then do the test wherever you happen to be in the yard, in the attic (or wherever you have fun running wires) . I like it, it's worth the money!
