Amazing tool in network and cable testers

Absolutely great bonus in the toolbox and a great alternative to an expensive device for simple "pass or fail" testing ", the device displays "open or short circuit" and even detects bad contacts. Another reason I love this guy is that he has a tone generator (stick sold separately), but I already had a stick. He sends tone via rj11, rj45 and coax or any signal and ground wire with adapters (not included), it also has 4 or 5 different tone tones this unit comes with "remote controls" for…

Pros
  • Dual function button - controls test functions and tone generator
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Assemble cables yourself? Get this item!

This saved me a lot of time when I had to make some cables myself. I usually buy ready made patch cords (because I'm lazy and they work) but I had to run some long outdoor cables through conduit where the connectors didn't fit. This little gem will save you time and doubts. No back and forth, no tedious testing of the data traffic, whether the cable connector is ok or not. Place a terminal block on one end, do your business 100 feet away, then do the test wherever you happen to be in the yard…

Pros
  • Shows Wiremap
Cons
  • No Instructions

Great tester at a low price

First of all, this is not a Fluke tester. It's a dumb cable tester. Actually a continuity tester. It checks the integrity of the cable pairs. That's all. So if you expect more, you will be disappointed. Buy for what is and you will be very satisfied. I have used many cheap and some expensive cable testers and this is one of the best. It's small, well made and has a lot of great features. The remote block, which snaps into place at the bottom, is practical. The display is very detailed and…
