Nice little microphone for home use. I've owned it for almost a year now. The range is okay, but not as good as I would like. I would say it works best within 5 feet or so. Being omnidirectional is good, and it seems true. I haven't noticed any difference in how it picks up the conversation from a certain direction. I usually use it when it's on the side of my desk and I can sit back and be heard easily. When driving away, however, it gets a little quieter. I think it's fine for home use, but I don't know if I would ever try to use it in a professional setting. It's a small form factor and comes with a fairly long cable. The mic itself is solid like nothing. I don't take it lightly and it regularly falls off my desk or wherever it's installed. Once the dog even grabbed him briefly. Nevertheless, it is still completely intact and looks completely undamaged. Overall I'm happy as it costs a fraction of what a high quality would cost me, but I can still get a better quality conference phone for work.
