will not work if your mustang has an aftermarket computer setup

My Mustang GT with a Paxton supercharger and performance tuned using the SCT X4 programmer and after disassembling the dash many times and had to pull the plug to reset this thing, I called Metra tech support and they said I'm sorry it doesn't work if your car is set up for aftermarket. we can't help you wtf. it was supposed to be in the description and it was a big waste of time and money.
