Review on 🚫 Do Not Shatter the Bottle! Engaging Corkscrew Puzzle for Grown-Ups by Cris Drew

During the Christmas holidays I had the idea of giving a couple of bottles of wine to friends. Wine puzzle for two different couples. Assembly should be easier than solving the puzzle yourself. It took me and my fiance 15 minutes to get it right and we were both in college and I love tinkering with puzzles. This one was a step away from ending up in a ditch near the restaurant's parking lot where we tried to collect it before heading out to meet our friends. The main problem is that it is poorly built. Says it holds a standard bottle of wine. In this case, the bottle should be twice the size of the one on the shelf. I had plain wine which I love and we had to play around with the ropes as they were too long. Finally, we had to cut a few inches of rope at the top, tie a loop back into the wooden cover, and repeat the puzzle. If I knew what I was doing I would have sent it back but we've already done well for over two months (delayed with Christmas gifts due to busy time of year etc) and by then it wasn't worth a fight with the seller about give me the money back
