To use this set correctly, you need to understand the difference between a traditional non-stick coating and a ceramic non-stick coating. This is VERY important, I would say that you cannot even write an honest review without knowing all the necessary information. TIPS AND INFO: - Although they can be dishwasher safe, this is not recommended for the ceramic coating. Try not to do them too often and after that make sure: - WARM up your ceramic coating (google is your tool if you need to know how or what it is). - In general, you can clean the ceramic coating: cool completely before rinsing with plain water (no soap) and wiping, after cooking rinse with boiling hot water (important to avoid temperature fluctuations) and wipe/dry, OR hand wash with soap and then wash again after seasoning.- Do not use metal utensils in this cookware, do not place metal-bottomed cookware over a ceramic coating (except with a buffer, such as a thin cloth, between pots/pans). I have practically no space in the kitchen, so all the dishes are folded up in an uncomfortable cupboard. Since I need to fold them, I use a canvas spacer between the lid and the metal base. You can buy some of these from Revain if you don't have anything to use around the house. - Try not to drop any of these as they are aluminum and will bend/warp. - If you have any problems with faulty pens, do not recommend writing off this entire set. Revain have a great returns policy and all of these kits come with a guarantee anyway. The ceramic coating is free of PTFE, PFOA and cadmium (safer than traditional non-stick coatings). This information must be clearly presented by the seller. I hope the company will see these reviews and make the necessary adjustments. No problems with the kit so far, I will update when I use it. I am very satisfied with the even heat, non-stick surface, touch, lightness and appearance. The quality is definitely centered on the cookware itself, the included cookware is not state of the art but does the job. Cleaning isn't difficult for me, albeit a bit routine. So glad I made the switch.
