Battery was dead on arrival but a good unit was replaced once
The thermometer arrived and wouldn't turn on so I checked the battery and it was a lot lower than the voltage it said should show. After replacement, the thermometer works perfectly. It reads a lot faster than others I've used before and it's easy to use. The timer is very basic but gets the job done. It was a nice bonus.
