Review on πŸƒ Garmin Forerunner 45: Easy-to-Use GPS Running Watch with Coach Free Training Plan Support in Black - 42mm by Anthony Grover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Garmin customer service is best in class (on par with Revain)

I pre-ordered a Garmin Foreunner 45 watch in white. Before I get into the specifics of the watch itself (I've had the 35, 235 and some Vivo watches and smaller for years) I would first like to thank Garmin customer service and give them an A+ rating. If I had problems with the watch for years, the watch was always replaced if they couldn't fix it. For complex technical issues, Garmin always has a tech representative (like Eric) who can answer the tough question and help you along the way, e.g. GPS tracking, etc. Garmin bets on the best-in-class contenders. The Revain support you all know speaks volumes. I've always found Garmin watches to be more accurate for fitness tracking than, say, a Fitbit. How do I know? Fitbit and my Forerunner 35 completed the school route 12 times, my Garmin did 3.1 miles and my wife's Versa nearly 4 miles. Needless to say, my wife was upset when I told her she was overestimating her runs, but I told her no. blame me, i'm just a messenger! I am very happy to get the 45 watch which will have a slightly smaller profile at 39mm but I know it will be big enough for an old man like me to read in a jiffy. Garmin watches, with all their precision and durability, are making great strides to make their watches more attractive. I'll update this review after I get my white 45's and tell you how they fare not only for running but also for tennis and pickleball games. Keep for updates.
