Plates are of good quality but smell like detergent or towels. It's possible these slabs were stored from there until delivery, but it looks like they really did absorb any odors from other products in storage. I'm fairly sensitive to these smells (I try to go for unscented options for most products when they're available), but if you use scented products regularly, you might not mind at all. to throw away, I put them one by one in my tanning bed for a few days to see if I could get rid of the smell. It only worked a little. It's a shame because I love how strong these records are.
