Review on πŸ”§ Maximize Storage and Organization with Wall Control Galvanized Steel Pegboard Tool Organizer by Craig Waters

Much better than standard pegboard

Much better than standard pegboard for two reasons: A) Wood/paper pegboard will degrade over time with use, moisture and age. I doubt this applies to metal. B) Items that attach to slots are safe, very safe if each accessory has small protrusions. Installation was easy. I attached them to a concrete block in the basement with Tapcon screws. The panels are flexible enough to handle the less than ideal concrete block surface. INSTALLATION WARNING. Plates should not touch each other. There should be a 1/4 to 3/8 inch gap between them. Why is a release required? For example, if you want to install a shelf that will hold two panels, the panels must be spaced exactly from each other. Note that nothing in the promotional photo crosses the two panels. What I did was install one panel while holding the second panel in roughly the right place, then adjusted the "rods" used for the shelf and drawers to connect the two Span Plates (okay, my son helped me!). This enabled me to determine the appropriate distance between the plates. The only suggestion for the manufacturer is to offer wider panels, but not in my favor as I doubt I'll ever need to replace them :)
